Artist Research

This sculpture was made by artist Rob Mulholland, he creates illusions with his artwork. Here is an example of his work displayed at the David Marshall lodge in Scotland. It shows people who once occuppied the land World War One broke out, it also shows the journey of them being relocated and forests where planted at the time to generate timber. This explores mans impact on nature and shows a journey of natures recovery after the war. This has inspired me to use the natural environment to photograph my artwork, as it would display the innocence of the nature around us.
